Engaging with our residents as a volunteer can inspire creativity, foster personalized connections, offer comfort, and evoke reminiscences of a lifetime. Simple activities like cleaning up after meals with a resident friend can provide a sense of purpose and family.

Volunteers bring meaning and purpose to residents’ lives, motivate them, improve their physical and mental health, boost confidence, and create a family-oriented environment. They also establish a circle of trust and connection with the residents. Family and friends who volunteer aren’t just here for their loved ones but for all residents. Becoming part of the family, getting engaged, and finding a purpose are the benefits of being a volunteer.
